Localist never sells your personal information or sells inquiries as leads. Browsing the directory does not require an account when the site is public.

Supabase provides email and password authentication and processes your email, password credentials, and account name. Localist does not store your password in its booking database. Original ChatGPT sign-in remains available for existing accounts; these accounts and their records stay separate from new email accounts. Booking records and contact details are stored by our hosting provider. With your consent, booking details are shared only with verified representatives of your selected business when it activates bookings. Customer records are scoped to your account. Coupon reports, listing correction reports, listing submissions, and business verification requests are reviewed privately by the administrator.

You can cancel booking requests and delete inactive records from My account. Favorites and listing drafts are stored in your browser. We use no advertising trackers; fonts load from Google Fonts, and hosting and sign-in providers process technical information needed to run the site.

Optional Localist reviews publish your chosen display name, business and service comments, service name, and review dates. Account identifiers, booking identifiers, appointment details, email, phone, and payment details are not included in public review responses. Completion and payment are recorded by the business and acknowledged by the customer; Localist does not independently verify direct payments. Edit or remove reviews through My account. Remove a public review before deleting its booking record.

Business calendar-pilot setup records and time blocks are private to verified representatives and the directory administrator. Blocks collect unavailability times and general reasons, not customer names or contact details. Planning previews are private and do not activate customer booking calendars.
